Writing Class - Escape Room Edition!

Service Description

In each one time class, the students will solve clues, and riddles to "escape" and complete the challenge. Themes and reading materials will change each class.The students will have fun working together to solve the questions. This is a great way for the students to work on their social, team, writing and critical thinking skills. Students must be able to read on their own and be okay with working with other students. The escape room has hints listed throughout the game should the team get stuck, I support students to gain the skills and confidence necessary to problem solve and build comprehension tactics. Students will learn on how to work in teams and support each other in the escape room while searching for clues and solving jigsaw puzzles, riddles , memory games and more. Students should be comfortable to switch tabs between the Escape room links and Google Meet. Sessions are designed to support each student at their level of need. Area of focus include: • increasing vocabulary • building reading fluency and comprehension skills • grammar skills and parts of speech skills
